“Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in Your word. I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right, And that in faithfulness You have afflicted me. Let, I pray, Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your word to Your servant.” – PSALM 119:74 -76
Devotion
Even in the midst of the fiery trials and harsh afflictions in life, know that God’s faithfulness still abides with you. His faithfulness will sustain you (Ps 37:3, 24). Therefore place your hope in His faithfulness and stand firmly on His word. Surely then His tender mercy will comfort all your distresses. God will then turn your sadness into gladness.
