Devotion
Holiness always expels the free radical of pride from our system. Pride will enlarge your blind spots and you will stay blinded from the truth (Prov 12:15; 28:26) and a proud person will never see that they are in danger of deviating from God’s narrow way (Prov 15:5; 18:20; 26:10). What’s more, the bible advocates that we leave the fools to themselves
(Prov 17:10, 12, 16, 24; 23:9; 24:7; 26:4-5, 11-12): it is hence no surprise that fools are destined for failure.
