“But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.” – LUKE 10:40-41
Devotion
More often than not, we allow urgent matters to crowd out the truly important things. Grasp this rule of life: Major on the major and not major on the minor. In other words, here is the rule of spirituality that anchors a walk based in the fear of the Lord: Build for eternity rather than for earthly profit (Col 3:1-4). We may have credits for serving the needs of man but we have crowns when we practise the will of God and engage in having intimacy with Father God.
