Devotion
Obedience is the embodiment of the fear of the Lord (Luke 22:42). Jesus was the personification of this holy fear, being obedient to the Father (John 8:29) unto the point of death. There has been no greater obedience than His work at Calvary. Similarly, as we embrace the crucified walk, the power of God will be at work to save our souls from worldliness and the seed of the fear of God will sprout in the gardens of our soul.
