Daily Verse
“The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether… Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” – PSALM 19:9, 12-14
Devotion
Do you know there will be times you will not be able to control yourself from sinning against God? How then do you keep yourself from such presumptuous sin? The Psalmist knew that the fear of the Lord is the holy offspring of a consistent devotional life and of hungering for His word. Indeed, His word will cleanse and deeply detoxify you (Eph 5:26: Ps 119:9-11). It is the surest way to cultivate in you a pure and blameless life.
