“But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, ‘You shall not return that way again.’” – DEUTERONOMY 17:16
Devotion
The worldliness of Egypt must not grip the reins of our heart (1 John 2:15-17). Exalting your own agenda above God’s is a sign that you have not died to your flesh. By insisting on your way, you are saying that you are smarter than God. If you do not crucify this worldliness, your flesh will cause you to drift further and further away from God’s kingdom.
