Devotion
A backslider is deaf to the wooings of heaven. He is blind to the dealings of God. Numb and insensitive to the ways of righteousness, he has drifted far from God’s perfect will. He has to solely rely on his own strength and intellect to painstakingly carve out his own future. On the contrary, the godly trust and rely on God fully, consulting Him on all daily affairs and being blessed as a result.
