“At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year … And the Levite, … and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow … may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand …” – DEUTERONOMY 14:28-29
Devotion
When the godly participate in the three-fold giving of tithes, first-fruits and giving to the poor, they are guaranteed an avalanche of great blessings (Deut 14:23). However, simply giving without reverence and joy will cause your harvests to be blocked (Deut 14:22-29). That is the reason why some people are unable to receive their blessings even though they tithe! A rejoicing heart will lift the yoke of poverty off your life (Deut 28:47-48).
