Daily Verse
“And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.” – NUMBERS 21:5-6
Devotion
Murmuring and complaining caused the Israelites to wander in the wilderness for 40 years before an entire generation eventually died in the desert. The barren desert became the graveyard for those complainers. Murmurers are the vanquished who will amount to nothing in life. Grateful hearts, on the other hand, will receive many blessings in life.
