Devotion
When our first love for God withers away, the fear of the Lord in our hearts will similarly fade away. We start turning a deaf ear to His holy commandments (Prov 1: 23-31). When we walk contrary to His explicitly revealed will, we will swiftly be cut off from the way of life (Prov 16:25).
