Devotion
The text of Matthew 22:32 offers you a revelation of the second Godhead which is alluded to in that quotation; the God of Isaac was referred to as the Fear of Isaac. In other words, when Jesus was on the earth, He developed the fear of the Lord (Heb 5:7). He passed His greatest test of obedience at the garden of Gethsemane. As we walk in the footsteps of Christ engaging in daily fellowship with the Father, we will grow this fruit of holiness (1 Pet 1:16; 2:21-23).
