The Bible is a great exploratory book. It is a rewarding adventure for every hungry seeker. It is an incredible gold mine, filled with precious treasures that are ours as inheritance:
“…I commend you to the word of His grace (to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favour). It is able to build you up and to give you (your rightful) inheritance…”
(Acts 20:32)
Indeed, God’s word promises endless opportunities for His children. However, these blessings of Abraham are hidden as seeds within His word. Faith is the factor that activates the growth of this seed. A chorus in an old hymn sums up wonderfully: “Every promise in the book is mine, every chapter, every line”.
Faith is the ability to reach the unreachable heights, to conquer the seemingly impossible feats, and to reap the monetary harvest. The first step to these manifestations requires the growth of faith. Every unattainable dream and every insurmountable task is possible in the eye of overcoming faith (Mark 9:23). The believers must receive God’s promise as a seed, nurture the inner vision, and water it with abundance of confession until it becomes a full-grown manifestation. The reverend saint, Kenneth Hagin once said, “You will never receive anything from God beyond the words you speak”.
