Daily Verse
“Make vows to the Lord your God, and pay them; Let all who are around Him bring presents to Him who ought to be feared. He shall cut off the spirit of princes; He is awesome to the kings of the earth.” – PSALM 76:11-12
Devotion
God is to be feared by all, both great and small. The judgment of the five wicked kings in Canaan was a prime example the dreadful punishment which has been reserved for the wicked (Josh 10:23-27). God has the awesome power to wipe an entire nation off the face of this earth in a moment’s notice should He be provoked to wrath (Ex 32:10).
