Devotion
Covetousness unmasks a wicked heart (Mark 7:22). Covetousness is crass uncleanness as it is a close cousin of fornication and other sexual sins (Eph 5:3, Rom 1:29). The greedy soul will have no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ (Eph 5:3-5). When we fear God and leave covetousness behind, God will never leave us behind (Heb 13:5). Whoever hates this vice will prolong his life (Prov 28:16).
