Devotion
Obedience is the barometer of true spirituality. The inner inclinations of our heart indicate where our heart is headed with the ear forming the pathway into our heart. Therefore heeding the promptings of a renewed heart is the way of obedience (Rom 7:6, Amp). Be sure to keep off streets of discontentment: the mouth and the mind obey poorly when the heart grumbles.
