Devotion
Honour thy parents (Eph 6:1-3). Do you respect the elderly (Prov 19:26)? One of the things the fear of God will teach you is to respect your elders (Prov 31:23; 1 Tim 5:1-2; 1 Pet 5:5). Their experiences in life are far richer than yours (Prov 16:31). A wise person will glean from them (Job 15:9-10; Prov 20:29). Their counsel will position you for a good standing in life (Ex 18:17-24).
