“…Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry? You caused judgment to be heard from heaven; The earth feared and was still, When God arose to judgment, To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah” – PSALM 76:7-9
Devotion
Cry out to God for His fear to save your soul before it is too late (Ps 76:5-9; Isa 59:18-21). The hardness of a man’s heart (Jer 7:24) will subject it to a series of calamity to break its stubbornness and to subject it to His majesty. This was evident in the days of Moses where it took a combination of an earthquake and a deadly plague that wiped out 14,950 Israelites before they were jolted back to fearing God and returned to Him (Num 16:35, 49).
