Salvation belongs to those whose walk show that they fear God deeply

You work your salvation by fearing God and bearing the fruit of a holy life (Rom 8:5-7). The three great hindrances to this holy living are the influence of the law of sin and death, the carnal mind and the flesh that will not submit to the dictates of the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:2, 7-9, 12). Till the flesh is put under the workings of the cross, you will not see the fullness of this wholesome spirit-filled life.
