Daily Verse

“Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.”
– 1 TIMOTHY 3:8-10

Devotion

The litmus test of servanthood is service to God with a pure conscience (2 Tim 1:3). Pure motives derived from a pure conscience form the signposts of a blameless walk. The threefold qualities of a blameless life are: the sanctification of our lips; sobriety of good conduct and prudence in financial stewardship. The blameless leader who walks in His fear will win the approval of heaven smiling over his path.
