Devotion
Haste is the doorway to trouble (Prov 28:20). Hastiness makes one a fool (Prov 29:20). It provokes one to greed (Prov 28:22). Those who are hasty in handling matters lose the blessings intended for them (Prov 20:21). Consider your decisions carefully before you act (Prov 13:16). Wisdom will lead you to prudence (Prov 14:18; 22:12). Let these two wise admonitions be imprinted in your mind: “He who is impulsive exalts folly.” and “Everyone who is hasty surely leads to poverty” (Prov 14:29; 21:5).
