Devotion
The rod of reproof is the way to kingdom growth (Prov 6:23). One cannot grow in the fear of the Lord if he shuns disciplinary correction. Just like a bodybuilder puts in time and effort in training to attain his physique, we too must endure the trainings of painful correction so as to deepen our walk in the fear of the Lord.
