“Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? Devotion
Do you want to be granted the token of immunity against the works of the devil? Treasure the fear of the Lord. As with Job, God will also raise an impenetrable immunity shield around you if you honor and fear Him. Your adversary who acts like a roaring lion will then only be able to make noise but be unable to breach the hedge of protection and invade your life with woes (1 Peter 5:5-8). The enemy will be forced to make a hasty retreat from your presence in deep frustration and bitter defeat. This miserable enemy will then drop all their plans of assault and leave you in peace for a season of time (Lk 4:13).
