Devotion
Do not allow your work to become your idol. Be sure that the rat race of life does not short-change you of the time you spend with God. Preoccupation with your career will drown in busyness and push you cut short your time of devotion. You may even become an absentee from your prayer closet. The excessive lust and ambition to accumulate wealth is a sure path to destruction (1 Tim 6:9-10).
