“For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name. You will prolong the king’s life, His years as many generations.” – PSALM 61:5-6
Devotion
Do you know what has been promised to those who fear God? It is longevity. If you want to inherit your promise and live a long life, fear the Lord. Obey the Lord’s commands- both you and your household- and God will usher you and your family into your promised land. Obedience is the pathway to long life (Deut 6:2-3). You will get to see your grandchildren and even your great grandchildren.
