The sovereignty of God is a greatly misunderstood subject in the Christendom today. Do you really leave answers to your prayer to chance – wondering maybe God will and may be He won’t? Or is the issue of answered prayer a choice that is left up to the individual? The answer is easily found within the documents of the Bible: “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mk 11: 24).
John 5 is a narration of a man waiting aimlessly on a sovereign move of God. The situation took a dramatic turn when that man responded in faith towards Jesus. Recalled the faith of the Canaanite woman in Mt 15 to whom Jesus said, “Woman, great is thy faith be it unto thee even as thou wilt?” Don’t wait on the sovereign will of God. You can have a miracle, at your own will! Use your faith to make it happen!
People often wait for a feeling before they will believe. Boldly act on what you believe and you shall walk into a miracle. Rise up and stop tolerating failure and lack. Do not allow your enemy to gain an inch over your life. You have a clear edge over the opposition. Begin to possess what is yours.
We can either take a chance waiting for God to move sovereignly on our behalf or we can make a decisive choice to step out believing what He said in His word. Take Him at His word. Faith makes it happen. Signs will always follow faith. Yours is to work out the faith, God is to work the signs. The miraculous answer to prayer lies in your working faith. Once faith is established, you are guaranteed for sure results.
